Guided by Integrity
As we grow in our walk with the Lord, He will continue to shape our character and develop our integrity. This integrity will be a helpful guide in making life‘s decisions.
The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. - Proverbs 11:3
Integrity comes from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God transforming our hearts and minds. When we live by integrity, many decisions will make themselves. There are certain things that we know that we must do and other things that we know we must never do. Like Daniel of old, we must purpose in our hearts ahead of time so that in the moment of temptation we will be ready. And when we fail, we must get back right with God quickly. And know that we have the Holy Spirit who will guide and empower us as we walk in dependence upon Him.
