SEEDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Life is likened unto gardening, for every deed is a seed, and we sow them daily.
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. - Hosea 10:12
When we sow seeds of righteous deeds, we reap mercy, goodness, and many more blessings from God. But too often, our hearts are hard like fallow ground, and we must be sensitive to keep on confessing and turning from sin to break up the hardness of our hearts. This means actively seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. When we do, the Lord will come and rain righteousness and even more blessings upon us.
