WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE WITH OUR SINS
We loved our sin and we were largely controlled by it before Christ saved us. But it was an offense to God that had us heading to eternal judgment. Salvation in Jesus Christ changed all of that.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. - Micah 7:19
The devil surely remembers our sins, and certainly others do as well. And even we can recall them. But God has removed them from our eternal record. This picture may be symbolic, but God has cast our sins into the depths of the sea. The ocean at its depth is about 7 miles deep, deeper than any human being can ever go without imploding from all of the pressure. That means He has removed them to where we can never retrieve them. They are gone forever. This is all because Jesus paid the penalty for them on the cross. We who are saved are also secure. To God be the glory!
