When we face defeat and failure, sometimes we are tempted to give up. But we who are saved by the grace of God can be assured that the Lord will never give up on us!
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Let this be a reminder to us that our good intentions, strength, and ability are not enough for us to live in victory. We need the grace of God working in us and on us continually. The Lord is always working in us and on us through every circumstance, and we must learn to rely on His help with every step that we take. We can be confident that our Lord will finish what He has started in us! Therefore, there is no excuse ever for us to be giving up.
