SUFFICIENT FOR ME
All of the pain, suffering, and affliction in our lives, are used by God to work for our good. And they teach us that we are not sufficient for the challenges of life, but our God surely is.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9
It is an encouragement to know that His grace is sufficient for others, such as Abraham, Moses, and Paul. But it is a much greater encouragement to know that his grace is sufficient for ME. No matter what I am going through, when I look to the Lord in faith, He will strengthen me, lead me, and ultimately provide for me whatever is best. The more insufficient we see ourselves to be in any matter, the more we can draw on God in His sufficient grace.
