DESPISE NOT SMALL THINGS
While it is sometimes true that bigger is better, that is certainly not always the case. God delights in using small things and people that are considered to be small.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
- Micah 5:2
The Son of God entered into this world in a small village called Bethlehem. And there was no room for Him to be born in the inn. He came into this world in far less than ideal circumstances. But He who came out of little Bethlehem is the Savior of all who believe. And His life, death, and resurrection have impacted untold millions of people for all eternity. In like manner, let us be willing to be the small person in the small place, being faithful to our calling, and leave the rest in the Lord‘s hands. And let us not ever look down on seemingly insignificant people or places.
