WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD
We have many responsibilities in the Christian life, but we must always remember that the essence of the Christian life is not rules, but rather our relationship with the Lord.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
- Micah 6:8
All that God requires of us is only truly possible as we walk humbly with Him in prayer, worship, and in His Word. Doing what is just, loving mercy, and even humility are the fruits of daily fellowship with the Lord. The Lord does not merely want our outward conformity to Bible commands; He wants our very hearts and souls to be in communion with Him. This is the essence of what the Lord requires. This walk is moment by moment, step-by-step, and day by day, WITH HIM. Let us humbly draw near to our Lord this very day.

I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
n And it told Thy love to me;
nBut I long to rise in the arms of faith,
n And be closer drawn to Thee.

nDraw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
n To the cross where Thou hast died;
nDraw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
