THEY UNDERSTOOD NOT
Sometimes we make a serious error in judgment when we think that others will understand or appreciate what God is doing in our lives.
For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not. - Acts 7:25
God would use Moses to lead His people out of Egypt, but even Moses did not understand how or when. The people that he was supposed to lead surely did not understand. When we are walking in obedience to God‘s Word, what we do or say will often seem foolish to the world, and sometimes to other believers. Unlike Moses at his first attempt, we must see to it that we are doing what the Lord commanded and not just our own stubborn fleshly will. Yet we must never veer from what we know God has told us to do. And we must be patient and gracious with those who do not understand or even reject us.
