WHEN WE MUST HASTEN
Much of our lives will be spent waiting, and for this we need great patience. But there are times when we must make haste.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
- Psalm 119:60
When we know what God has told us to do in His Word, that is not the time to wait. Like the psalmist, we must make haste and keep His commandments. We prefer to receive explanations and have understanding first, but that is not required. Once we know what to do, we are to step out in faith and obedience, for delayed obedience is disobedience. By God‘s grace, let us make haste to keep His commandments this very day.
