PRAY ANYWAY
We know all too well that our flesh continually resists prayer. How much more challenging would it be if prayer were against the law?
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. - Daniel 6:10
Even after Daniel knew that he would be put to death if caught praying to God, he went to his open window and prayed three times a day to the Lord and even gave thanks. He did it because it was a priority with him. Every believer needs a time and place where we meet God in prayer and resist all temptations to let anything interrupt it. Prayer is our lifeline to God and is far more important than acceptance, ease, or anything in this temporal life.
