THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH
In human governments and across all societies, there is no agreement on who has the final say in what constitutes right and wrong. But there is a just Judge who does have the power and the authority to decide and execute perfect justice.
That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
- Genesis 18:25
God is the Judge of all the earth, and He is a righteous judge. Many have questions about human suffering, the reality of hell, and many other concerns. We cannot answer every question, nor comprehend all of God‘s ways, but we can be sure that He has the final say, and that He will do what is right. In His love, He made way for us to escape judgment by sending Christ to die for our sins. Because of Christ, we can receive mercy and grace instead of judgment when we trust in Him for salvation.
