WE SHALL UNDERSTAND
Most of the difficulties and trials of life that break our hearts leave us with many questions that will not be answered in this life. But God will ultimately give us full understanding.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Mirrors in the ancient world were made of polished metal and did not give a clear reflection. This also describes our limited ability to understand God and the events of this life. But in eternity, we shall see the Lord face-to-face and also have full understanding. And the questions of life that trouble us now will either be answered or they simply will not matter anymore. We shall know fully and we shall be known. And we shall be in the presence of God and His people without sin, forever.
