UPGRADE FROM A TENT TO A HOUSE
The human body is one of the many marvels of creation. It was designed by God to last, but not forever.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. - 2 Corinthians 5:1
Our earthly bodies are compared to tents, which are fragile and temporary dwellings for our souls that provide limited comfort. Our glorified bodies are compared to houses, which are strong and sturdy dwellings for our souls that will last forever. Life is certainly not equal. Some suffer physically more than others. Some lives are short, while others have longevity. But all believers will receive a perfect and permanent upgrade that will never age, weaken, suffer, or die. And this all by the grace of God.
