LEARN FROM THE LITTLE ANT
God‘s wisdom is revealed in all of creation and in all of His creatures. Consider the little ant.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
- Proverbs 6:6-8
First, the ant is a very small insect, but extremely hard-working. The ant shows us initiative by working diligently without the need for constant supervision. Ants also fully embrace teamwork, knowing that together everyone accomplishes more. And then consider the fact that ants do not wait until the last minute to act. They prepare in advance. If ants can do these things, how much more must we human beings, who are made in the very image of God develop these vital qualities? Consider the ant, and be wise.
