WHAT LOVE IS THIS
It is a blessing to know that we are loved by God, but it is absolutely astounding to comprehend the depth of His love.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. - 1 John 3:1
How much does God love us? He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins, so that all who believe in Him will receive eternal life. But more than that, He has adopted us into His family, as His sons and daughters who will ultimately inherit all the blessings of His eternal Kingdom. To consider that we were made from the dust of the Earth and elevated to be in the family of our Creator is staggering to think about! But that was just how much God loves us. And the more we grow to be like Him, the less we will fit in this world, and the less we will be understood by others living in this world.
