CEASING FROM STRIFE
Conflict is inevitable in a sinful world, but we must do all we can to resolve it when possible.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

Sometimes when we are doing the right thing, conflict will occur, and even then we must remain gracious with a good attitude. But when we cause conflict by our sin or others’ sin against us, we have work to do. When we are wrong, we must acknowledge it and seek forgiveness. When we have been wronged, we must either choose to forgive and let it go or lovingly approach the offender to seek a resolution. Winning is never the goal; neither should we seek to shame someone else. We should just look for a godly way to end the strife.
