PLENTEOUS IN MERCY
Everything that the Lord possesses, He has in abundance, for He possesses all things.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
- Psalm 86:5
As sinners, we have great need of forgiveness, and our Lord is ready to forgive. When we sin, we should run to the Lord and not from Him. Running from Him is too often our natural tendency. When our sins are plentiful, His mercy is more plentiful. He always has more than whatever our greatest need may be. His love for us is eternal, His grace is more than sufficient, and He is plenteous in mercy. How can we not call on Him, regardless of our need and situation? He is truly good all the time!
