SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND
God created us with a natural tendency to explore and achieve. But we must be careful to put it to good use.
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
- Proverbs 11:27
The Lord is good, and seeking Him first should be our priority. Then we should seek that is good and beneficial for us and for others rather than that which is sinful or harmful. We should also seek diligently rather than halfheartedly, or out of mere duty. When we diligently seek good, we may not get exactly that which we seek, but will often receive something better. We will certainly receive favor from the Lord and many times from other people. Let us resolve to diligently seek that which is good, knowing that favor will follow.
