CONSIDER HIM WHO ENDURED
It is hard to overcome living a self-focused life, especially when we are going through a difficult time. But it is very necessary to do so if we are to grow.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.- Hebrews 12:3
Consider Christ, the perfect Son of God, who never said a bad word, did a bad deed, or even had a bad thought, during His whole life on earth. Yet He was hated, persecuted, and despised by many. All He did was show love, help people, and speak the truth of God. In return for this, He was crucified on a cross for our sins. In the midst of your worst difficulty, consider Him, and trust in Him for His aid. He endured much suffering and rejection, but He never responded in a sinful way. He focused on doing the will of God, and so should we.
