RECEIVING A KINGDOM
Earthly governments and nations have risen and fallen through throughout history, and they will continue to do so. But there is an eternal kingdom coming that will never end.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
- Hebrews 12:28
All believers in Christ are a part of that kingdom now, but we have yet to experience it in its fullness. The coming kingdom of God not only will not be removed, it cannot be removed. Our grateful response to being a part of this kingdom by grace should be that we would serve the Lord with all our hearts, and that we would live in the reverent fear of God who has delivered us from coming judgment that will be upon this world. And rejoice that we are children of the King.
