OUR GOD REIGNS
We may sometimes sense that we are insignificant in this world, being subject to government leaders who have control over our lives. But our God is on the throne over all creation.
The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
- Psalm 97:1
We can rejoice because the Lord reigns supreme over kings, dictators, tyrants, and all rulers of all nations. He is able to make both the good and the evil that they do fit into His perfect plan. And ultimately evil will be defeated forever and righteousness will prevail. Every knee will bow to Him and confess that He is Lord! Our focus must not be on the daily news events that produce anxiety and fear, but on the Lord Jesus Christ who rules in heaven now and who is coming to take complete control over this earth.
