MORE THAN THE MINIMUM
There are too many in the Christian life who seek to do as little as possible in their walk with God and in ministry. May that not be true about us.
Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
- Philemon 1:21
Rather than seeing how little we can do and be right with the Lord, let us see how much we can do! He suffered for us and went all the way to the cross and the tomb for our sakes, and shall we seek to excuse ourselves from a life of full commitment to Him? May the Lord give us such a heart of love that we gladly do above and beyond what is required, without comparing ourselves with others. Good is not enough, our Lord is worthy of our very best.
