HE IS OUR PEACE
People in our world are divided for many reasons. Many wonder if there is any peace to be found. There is peace in a person, and that person is Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.
- Ephesians 2:14
We were enemies with God, but Christ died to make our peace with God, and we enter into that peace when we trust in Him for salvation from sin. He also died to end the hostility between opposing groups and individuals who have believed in Him. As believers in Christ, our oneness in Christ is greater than any issues, past grievances, or other barriers that could divide us. Causes for division may still exist, but can certainly overcome them in Christ. He is our peace, and He has made us one in Himself forever.
