IN THE BEGINNING
By faith, we believe that God created everything by His powerful Word. And since He is self-existent and eternal, He certainly existed before the beginning of time and creation.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. - Genesis 1:1
This first verse in the Bible is the foundation upon which everything that follows it is built. If we believe Genesis 1:1, then it is incumbent upon us to believe everything that comes after it. We reject any form of evolution and place our trust completely in our Creator, who provided in Himself a Savior to deliver us from sin. Reading and studying His Word is essential, for God reveals Himself to us in it. We can trust Him fully, for all of His Word will surely come to pass. He knows and controls the end from the beginning.
