FAITH IS ESSENTIAL
The Lord has many blessings in store for us, but we must use the means by which He sends them. And that means is faith.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Hebrews 11:6
Faith is not merely strong belief. Some people have faith in themselves, and others have faith in faith, which amounts to nothing. Faith is only as strong as its object. Our faith is in the true and living God. It is a firm belief in His Word which is revealed by our response to it. Living, by faith means believing that God will do exactly as He said. We ought also to pray in faith, and seek the Lord diligently, because He is a gracious Rewarder. Let us never go through the motions of the Christian life, for without faith it is impossible to please the Lord.
